My friend picked Bowery Bungalow to celebrate her birthday. Super cute and cozy restaurant. We sat at the patio and the heat lamps kept us warm on a chilly night. Staff did a great job recommending different dishes to try. We did family style and had a blast tasting everything! + Market fatoush 5/5: Server said this tasted like the "sunshine" from the lemony vinaigrette and he was not kidding. The freshest salad! + Fried cauliflower 5/5: Wow, the cauliflower was so flavorful with spice and tahini. It tasted better than I expected. + Beef tongue shawarma gnocchi 5/5: Beef tongue was so tender! I think our server provided some sauce on the side saying that some customers think it's not salty enough... it was fine without the additional sauce. + Hanger steak 5/5: Well-cooked steak with crispy brussel sprouts on the side. + Seared scallop 5/5: The scallops looked overcooked and dry but it was actually cooked just right and super soft. Roasted parsnips were a great addition. Overall, we had a wonderful and fun dinner! Glad I got to try this restaurant out!

Incredible.. I wish I can stay, snack, and drink here for hours and everyday. It's such a cozy and incredible flavor notes that makes my taste bud sing! Having grown up in the Middle East, I love a good earthy ensemble of the spices in dry and wet forms and how well it flirts with the protein appropriately to give you a fragrant and long lasting delicious bite. Despite my pro-sushi love, I actually could see myself choosing this place over Bavel or generic East side sushi options - it's really a standout.

Had a double date here and we absolutely loved it!! It's set in a really cute, intimate space. It seems like the restaurant was once a house. Parking can be tricky, we luckily found street parking in a residential neighborhood across the street. The service is great, everyone is very sweet and kind and knowledgeable. We sat outside in the patio and thankfully there were heaters too so it wasn't so bad. Also, thankfully I had booked a reservation for my party in advance too. We got the spicy potatoes and babaganoush and lamb entree. All of it was so so delicious! Everything is family style too which was great. I loved their Vietnamese pho take on the lamb -- so so good. And our waiter recommended the Montepulciano wine to pair it with the lamb and it was so delicious! Will absolutely be coming back here and booking reservations again in advance!
